Dust Control for Quarries

The quarrying process blasting, crushing, screening, transporting and storing, creates dust, however there are a wide range of solutions available to quarry operators to control dust.

The most effective way to control dust is through dust suppression. While it isn’t practical to contain the contents of dust in an entire quarry, stages of the process can be contained quite easily. Dust suppression systems emit tiny water particles into the atmosphere, the water particles attach themselves to the dust, increasing its weight and it drops to the ground.
